20 Self-Care Ideas for Introverts

Welcome back to Mind Reimagined, where we take a holistic view of our mental health and wellness through the arts, community, and self-care. It's the start of a new week, so you already know it's time for a new mindset shift coming off the weekend. It's been two months since the last blog and let's just say I needed a nice long break to establish a self-care routine for myself.

It's easy to miss your opportunity for self-care over the weekend when the work at home piles up, especially when we have a busy work week. But I'm here to let you know that you don't have to wait until next weekend to relax; you can find short moments during the week to get in much-needed "you time." In this blog, I wanted to give self-care tips specific to introverts (my tribe).

Below I have listed 20 self-care ideas specific to introverts who have just come off a social weekend and need to recharge:

  1. Schedule in "me time"

  2. Create a morning routine

  3. Implement a night routine

  4. Spend time outdoors

  5. Read a non-educational book

  6. Write about gratitude in your journal

  7. Start some deep breathing exercises

  8. Incorporate essential oils

  9. Exercise

  10. Dance to your favorite music

  11. Take a bubble bath

  12. Clean your home

  13. Do a social media cleanse (1hr a day)

  14. Talk to someone you haven't spoken to in a while

  15. Plan out your week

  16. Budget (financial self-care)

  17. Look through old pictures

  18. Practice yoga

  19. Pick up an old hobby or a new one

  20. Brain Dump on paper or phone
