Happy Monday, Beautiful Souls!
Welcome back to Mind Reimagined, where we take a holistic view of our mental health and wellness through the arts, community, and self-care. It's the start of a new week, so you already know it's time for a new mindset shift coming off the weekend. It's been two months since the last blog and let's just say I needed a nice long break to establish a self-care routine for myself.
It's easy to miss your opportunity for self-care over the weekend when the work at home piles up, especially when we have a busy work week. But I'm here to let you know that you don't have to wait until next weekend to relax; you can find short moments during the week to get in much-needed "you time." In this blog, I wanted to give self-care tips specific to introverts (my tribe).
Below I have listed 20 self-care ideas specific to introverts who have just come off a social weekend and need to recharge:
Schedule in "me time"
Create a morning routine
Implement a night routine
Spend time outdoors
Read a non-educational book
Write about gratitude in your journal
Start some deep breathing exercises
Incorporate essential oils
Dance to your favorite music
Take a bubble bath
Clean your home
Do a social media cleanse (1hr a day)
Talk to someone you haven't spoken to in a while
Plan out your week
Budget (financial self-care)
Look through old pictures
Pick up an old hobby or a new one
Brain Dump on paper or phone
I hope that you all can implement just a few of these into your daily routines. If you would like any other tips, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Have a glorious day and go think GOOD thoughts...
