Why 30 is NOT the New 20

Hello, Beautiful Souls!

Welcome back to Mind Reimagined, where we take a holistic view of our mental health and wellness through the arts, communication, and support. This post is for all of my people in their twenties who think they have ample time to do what they have wanted to do. Today, we will talk about why you shouldn't waste your twenties, why it's not okay to compare yourself to others, and how to reclaim your 20s despite any circumstances or challenges you may be facing. So, if this sounds like your jam, make sure you keep reading.

I know we hear, "oh, you're young, you have time for this and time for that" while we're in our 20s, but as soon as we get over the 25 hurdles, all of a sudden, the tune changes. But honestly, I wouldn't listen to any of that because you should not be wasting your 20s. Your brain rewires itself while in your 20s, this means that you will have some of the most transformative years in your personal life, spiritual life, and career. Whatever changes you want to make, you should start incorporating them now, because growth and progression take time, and you don't want to get to your 30s having to begin implementing change because someone told you that you had time.

We have to reclaim our twenties despite any circumstances or challenges that we have been facing. Listed below are a few tips that you can use to make sure that you don't waste your 20s, and you keep reclaiming your time: do any of these things, remember that everything happens in God's time. If your peers are doing all of these things in their 20s, that's great; congratulate them. You don't have to feel the need to accomplish the same things because you may feel left behind. Take your time in life and do what is best for yourself. Use the time in your 20s to work on yourself and start thinking about what you truly want before you hit 30. We have to stop comparing ourselves to people who don't walk our walk, talk our talk, or think our thoughts.

We have to reclaim our twenties (and our time) despite any circumstances or challenges that we have been facing. Listed below are a few tips that you can use to make sure that you don't waste you 20s and you keep reclaiming your time:

1.) Do something that adds value to who you want to be next, and do it scared.

2.) I know you have your set friends but venture out, find new friends, and network to learn more and expand exposure.

3.) Take your time; do it right and be intentional.

So y'all make sure that you're listening to yourselves and your wants and not comparing yourself to others or rushing into things based on what family and friends are saying or doing.

Please make sure you guys keep up to date with all the new things coming to Mind Reimagined by subscribing to our website. New subscribers will receive a free stress relief tool sheet to help you drain these crazy times that are unfortunately still going on.
