15 Self-Care Tips During Quarantine

Good Morning Beautiful Souls!


Welcome back to Mind Reimagined, where we take a holistic view of our mental health and wellness through the arts, communication, and support. In today's post, we will be talking about some self-care tips you can implement into your daily routine during this quarantine. If you need to spice up your day-to-day a little, make sure you keep reading to get some great ideas on how that can happen.


Y'all we're in some dark times right now; I mean outside is closed! Self-care is something that is much needed right now and should be incorporated into our everyday lives. When we don't tend to ourselves our mental health and wellness can begin to suffer. I don't know about y'all but those around me can definitely tell when I haven't been taking care of myself. If this is you then try out some of these tips listed below!


1. Disconnect from the Noise

There is a difference between being informed and giving into news drama, fear fuels MORE fear.


2. Put on Some Music

Try listening to some chill-hop (my favorite) or whatever calms you most.


3. Journal

This is a great tool for working through thoughts and emotions, it's like your safe space.


4. Learn Something New

Take a new class or read a book on a new subject.


5. Clean and Organize

When outside feels out of control, control your inside space.


6. Meditate

Invite some peace into your life through a better awareness of self.


7. Adopt a New Workout Routine

Try a new workout style, YouTube is a great place to start for inspiration.


8. Read More

Read something you love and explore another world.


9. Pick up What you Put Down

Start something up again that you didn't get a chance to finish.


10. Learn a New Language

Duolingo is a great app to learn different languages and it's free!


11. Watch a Comedy

Laughter is much needed during this time.


12. Try a New Recipe

Whether that be a new cooking, cleaning or skincare recipe.


13. Plan a Self-Care Night

Run yourself a nice bubble bath loaded with candles around the tub.


14. Enjoy Nature

15. Do Nothing
